Protections
Complainants and witnesses are protected from retaliation, harassment, or treatment that could discourage reporting. Supervisors must not penalize or isolate individuals who participate in investigations. Reasonable accommodations, such as flexible schedules or workload adjustments, may be provided to support affected employees.
Confidentiality is maintained to protect privacy, with information shared only on a need-to-know basis. The policy also covers protections in subsequent performance reviews or career opportunities arising from reporting.
