Bystander Intervention: How to Help Safely

Bystanders play a crucial role in stopping harassment and supporting those targeted. Acting safely and respectfully helps reduce harm while protecting everyone involved.

Steps include Direct intervention when safe, Distract to disrupt the incident, and Delegate to a supervisor or HR. In some cases, Documenting the behavior or seeking support is appropriate.
