Description:
Allyship is a practical commitment to support colleagues from underrepresented groups. This course covers how to participate in ERGs (employee resource groups), create sponsorship opportunities, and measure their impact on culture and outcomes. You will explore governance, accountability, and best practices for sustainable programs.
Measuring Impact
Measuring success requires both process metrics and outcomes. Track representation at senior levels, time to promotion, and access to high visibility assignments to evaluate impact on leadership pipelines.
Process metrics include numbers of active sponsorships, duration of sponsor engagements, and completion rates of development milestones. These help diagnose program health and efficiency.
Quality metrics assess sponsor and protégé satisfaction, perceived fairness, and the business impact of assigned projects.
Regular reporting to leadership, dashboards, and case studies of success and learning help sustain accountability and share best practices across the organization.
Publish success stories with clear data, while also documenting challenges and how the program adapts to improve equity and inclusion over time.
